Area is the number of square centimeter in the shape. We can work this out by multiplying the the sides. SxS= Area 2x3=6 The area of this shapes is 6 cm2. Perimeter is the distance around the outside of the shape we work this out by adding the sides together. S+S+S+S = Perimeter. 2+3+2+3= 10 cm The perimeter of this shape is 10cm.

today the block went outside to play on the skipping rope then we did relays.My first game was the relays.We had to do two jamps then we did five jamps at the end.Then the game started When it was my turn i bolted to the other side and then I did five jamps. Then I gassed it to the start. Afterwards we had the finals but I was in the finals. Then it was my turn to sprint.Then I went to my team. After that we won the race. Then i felt so exhausted.T

On Friday we had cross country and I Was very scared because it was going to be a long race. First it was the year one boys suddenly it was building up to my year after that I felt so nervous.Then it was my turn to race as Mr Burt said set then he clasped the clapper then i dashed a cross the field then i started to jog. After that we went outside to the reserve then we sprinted to the finish lien.Finally i felt so exhausted then i went over to get a water finish i felt so joyful

Today the block went outside to play on the park  and we added three balls  and the game was called elimination tag. As i sprinted a cross the park it felt like a cheetah because a tagger was be hind me.Then i got tag by Bryston  then i went on the side lien.Then Exodus catch  the ball for me on a full then i jump into the game after that I've catch the ball then i pick Mr Moran to come into the game suddenly Marius was the winner  but Marius had fell.

On Monday the block  did the ploy strong challenge. After that  we got dressed up in to the lava  lava and the lei.First we got in to our first dance and it was so cool. As the lady was crawling to the finish she was pushing so hard.And she was so completely exhausted .She had great determination.

Waka

Last  week we went  to go and get some sticks to make to make a waka. First we got some sticks to start. Next we got we came back to class and we got some paper to cut for our waka. Next we got some wire and we put it together with the sticks and then we cheak  if it can float and it did.After that we did the salL and put it on the waka and it was cool.
